Abstract

Republicans Shelley Dunn and Bud Gallie have given up on their quests to to unseat Portland legislators Steven Rowe and Eliza Townsend. The departure of Dunn and Gallie leaves the GOP with a reasonable chance of winning only two of Portland's ten legislative seats. State senator Joel Abromson is favored to win reelection over Democrat Boyd Marley, while state representative Tom Gieringer is competitive against former state representative Annette Hoglund.
