Abstract

"Between the Lines" piece on Magic Attic Press, launched one year ago by Jeff McKinnon and Gretchen Springer of the Georgetown Collection of Westbrook. McKinnon and Springer developed the Magic Attic Club, and in just one year Magic Attic Press has published more than one million copies of 13 books and created more than 150 related products. With a mention of two other successful Maine presses, Astarte Shell Press of Portland and Alice James Books of Farmington.
