Suzanne Cook, founder and sole member of the Maine chapter of the anti-circumscision group National Organization of Circumcision Information Resource Centers, wants to prevent Maine parents from circumcising their sons. Cook is publicizing the screening of an anti-circumcision film to be shown on Cable Channel 2. Only 59.8 percent of males born in the United States today are circumcised, down from nearly 90 percent in the early 1980s.
