Abstract

"City" piece on the cost and quality of health care at the Cumberland County Jail. County commissioners plan to cancel their contract with Prison Health Services of Tennessee because the cost is too high. Prison Health Services recently signed a joint contract with four correctional facilities in the state to provide health care for inmates. Commissioners are scheduled to request new bids to run the health program.
