Abstract

Casco Bay Weekly primary election endorsements of Tom Connolly as Democratic gubernatorial candidate; Leo Marin as Republican gubernatorial candidate; Ben Dudley as Democratic candidate in state House District 30, representing Munjoy Hill, the Casco Bay Islands,and part of East Deering; Michael Quint as Democratic candidate in state House District 33, representing Portland's Parkside and Bayside neighborhoods; Robert Pendleton as Republican candidate in state House District 22 representing part of Cumberland, and North Yarmough; Stephen Ciembroniewicz, Republican candidate in state Senate District 31, representing part of Scarborough, Dayton, Old Orchard Beach, and part of Buxton; and Peggy Pendleton, Democratic candidate in state Senate District 31. Voters are urged to cast "no" votes on the $36.9 million transportation bond issue and on the the water quality improvements bond issue and to vote yes on the $5 million bond issue to equip vocational schools.
