Abstract

Brief article about a new entry in the winter recreational sports field called snowblades, which are a pair of super-short skis with bindings that fit conventional ski boots. Snowblades have been on the market for about a year and range in price from $200 to $250. Maine's Sunday River and Sugarloaf ski areas both rent them by the day and Sunday River also has a snowblade instructor.
