Abstract

"Politics and Other Mistakes" piece on digital television signals, which will replace analog signals by 2002, forcing everybody in America to buy a new television or signal converter box, and urging Maine voters to oppose bond issues on the Nov. 2 statewide referendum ballot that would help to finance Maine Public Broadcasting Corp.'s conversion from analog to digital signal capability.
