"City" piece on an Oct. 6 Portland School Committee executive session during which the group is said to have discussed how they could get medical benefits or a possible pay raise from the city. According to attorney Jonathan Piper, who specializes in right-to-know law, these topics are "absolutely inadequate" reasons for holding a meeting behind closed doors.
