Abstract

"Talk" piece with linguist Conor Quinn, 21, who has studied Irish Gaelic, Indonesian, Penobscot, Somali, French, German, Turkish, Hmong and Mandarin. Quinn currently works at Standard Baking Co. and volunteers at Portland High School collecting the stories of Somali immigrants who are students there.
