Abstract

"Edge" piece on Jon Hawkins who came to Portland five years ago to attend the University of Southern Maine and now works as a recording engineer at The Studio in Portland, and two nights a week as DJ Jon at the Better End in Portland's Old Port. Hawkins believes his mission as a DJ is to make hip hop more well known in Portland.
