Abstract

"Portland Prowler" piece on a rental dispute between Old Port landlord Joe Soley and Glenn Gaudin, who owns and operates the Basement, an Old Port club. Gaudin claims Soley agreed to halve the Basement's $2,000-a-week rent during the slow winter months, and even though Soley denies that, Gaudin is paying him only $1,000-a-week anyway.
