"So Noted" piece applauding a legislative bill, sponsored by state senator Joel Abromson, R-Portland, that would give local boards the option of sending election disputes to an independent authority or the Superior Court, while cautioning that citizen involvement is the only force that's truly capable of protecting the integrity of the ballot.
