Abstract

"So Noted" piece questioning why Portland School Committee members would seek a 3 percent raise and approve a school budget that includes money for a lobbyist in Augusta during a tight-budget year, and which applauds committee member Herb Adams for forcing the committee to confront the pay raise issue, which was removed from the budget.
