Abstract

"City" piece on Moses Sebunya, president of the Portland chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), who criticized Portland's minority hiring practices, and now has a lucrative consulting contract with the city of Portland that paid him $25,000 last year and will pay him $30,000 this year to recruit minorities for the police and fire departments. Sebunya also receives $35,000 from the University of Southern Maine to help diversify the student body.
