Abstract

"Edge" piece on Portland photographer Michael Piveronas, 37, who likes to shoot pictures in places where others like to shoot bullets. Since 1992, Piveronas has traveled to many politically unstable areas of the world, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Lithuania and Chiapas, Mexico. Piveronas is presently culling up to 40 photographs from his collection of about 10,000 images from 27 countries over 16 years for his first exhibit. The date and location of the exhibit are to be announced.
