"City" piece on the Portland Police Department's daily arrest and activity reports, also collectively known as the "police blotter," which are not readily available to the public. Gordon Scott, an Augusta attorney and a volunteer for the Maine Freedom of Information Coalition, said police departments are required to make either electronic or hard copies of their daily arrest and activity reports directly available to the public.
