Abstract

Harvey Prager, the convicted drug dealer whose appointment to a clerkship under Maine Supreme Court justice Howard Dana led to the passage of a law designed to make it tougher for felons to become attorneys, on August 1 began his one-year appointment. Prager last year transferred to Northeastern University in Boston to complete the third year of law school after the bad publicity about his appointment.
