Abstract

"City" piece on Maine's Clean Election law, which doesn't distinguish between regular and special elections. As a result, candidates seeking to fill the state Senate seat left vacant by the death of Republican Joel Abromson could receive $17,538 in public money by collecting 150 contributions of $5 each by Feb. 7.
