Abstract

Media commentator Tom Hanrahan was asked to leave Maine Public Broadcasting Corp.'s "Media Watch" after he refused to abide by a new policy banning personal attacks or insulting language. The station established the policy following criticism of the MPBC board by Hanrahan and other panelists after the broadcast of a story on the Mears Cove housing development in South Bristol.
