Abstract

"Newsreal" piece reporting that Green Party activist John Herrick has announced plans to run for the Maine House District 31 seat being vacated by state representative Jim Oliver. The Green Party won official ballot status based on results of the November gubernatorial election, but have not yet complied with all aspects of Maine's electoral laws, so Herrick will have to run as an independent.
