Abstract

Gleichman & Co. of Portland have been cited in Atlanta for housing code violations at the 350-unit Grant Park Village Apartments complex. Eleven housing complex residents were hospitalized due to carbon monoxide poisoning, and a Georgia Department of Human Resources official said 50 percent of the units are vandalized or unlivable. Gleichman purchased the complex in November, and though they claim they have made improvements they admit more work is needed.
