Abstract

Maine hardiness zone map based on average yearly minimum temperatures between 1974 and 1986. Maine has four major hardiness zones: 6a (-5 degrees to -10 degrees F) in the immediate Eastport area, through 3a (-35 degrees to -40 degrees F) in the immediate Van Buren area.
