Abstract

"Down East Bookshelf" piece on "The Delights of Democracy: The Triumph of American Politics," written by Bowdoin College political scientist and Republican activist Christian P. Potholm, and published by Cooper Square Press. The book consists mostly of columns about state and national politics written by Potholm for the Lewiston Sun Journal beginning in 1999, and as such makes an important contribution to the literature of modern Maine politics.
