Abstract

Description of an 1830's cape that Steve and Marcia Crabtree bought and renovated at Hancock Point. The home was originally built by one of the first Crabtrees to settle in the area. The addition of a new ell and barn complement the simple Greek Revival lines of the old cape. Hancock Point builders Roger Eckhardt Dexter Bellows worked on the project, which was designed by Blue Hill architects Elliott Elliott Norelius.
