Abstract

Article describing the construction of a new camp in western Maine that uses boulders and actual tree trunks for support, creating a woodsy feel inside and out. The camp was designed by Portland architect Will Winkelman of Whitten Architects, and constructed by Henry Banks, a Denmark, Maine, furniture maker and craftsman.
