Abstract

Short article describes Sherman Hutchins, a Penobscot boatbuilder who built a tough replica of a hundred-year-old Castine Harbor fisherman's dory out of cedar and oak. He calls his product the Northern Bay Dory and plans to market the boat at a price of $3500.
