Abstract

"Making It in Maine" piece about Garrett and Meoldy Bonnema, who moved to Bethel twenty years ago and founded Bonnema Pottery on Main Street. The Bonnema's now employ three part-time workers, and fire up their 125-cubic-foot kiln seventeen times a year to fill the deanmd for their work. Prizing their quiet, they refuse to grow their business any larger.
