Abstract

"The Talk of Ogunquit" piece on the Ogunquit Playhouse, which longtime owner John Lane has promised to a newly formed local foundation if they can raise a $500,000 endowment fund. Mort Mather, 57, of Wells, is leading the fundraising effort to secure the future of the landmark summer theater. Mather has already received $115,000 in donations. With a brief history of the playhouse from its founding in 1933.
