Abstract

"Outdoor Maine" piece reporting that Jackman experienced a twenty-degree drop in temperature one afternoon in late July on the winds of a northwest gale. Residents and visitors alike scurried for parkas and wool sweaters. The incident should remind those on an outdoor junket in Maine, even in the warmer summer months, to include clothing for a wide range of weather.
