Abstract

"Along the Waterfront" piece on boatbuilder Paul Rollins of York, who is building a forty-foot Durham boat for the Washington's Crossing Historic Park on the Delaware River in Pennsylvania. The boat may be used in the annual reenactment of George Washington's 1776 Christmas Day crossing of the river. The Maine-built boat will be the first in a program to replace four aging boats due to be retired to shore duty over the next four years.
