Abstract

"Along the Waterfront" piece on world-class racing skipper Cameron "Cam" Lewis of Lincolnville, who has set his sights on besting his circumnavigation win in an even faster multihull. He is preparing to design and build a state-of-the-art catamaran, to compete in a round-the-world, millennium race sponsored by Disneyland Paris. Lewis is planning a new "Adventure Learning Network" to relay back home to school children and others the experiences the catamaran and crew might encounter. He has built a headquarters for the new organization on his farm property at the head of Lake Megunticook in Lincolnville.
