Abstract

A lyrical tribute to Jack Dudley, who conveyed his great love and knowledge of Pocomoonshine Lake to the author before he died 15 years ago at the age of 78. He was a lawyer and a judge all his life, but he never left the lake he loved for long, and when he retired, moved to his family's summer cottage on the southeast shore.
