Abstract

An article on the "Queen Mary 2," the newest, largest, most expensive passenger liner afloat, which is visiting Bar Harbor and Portland on its "Splendours of the Fall" cruise this autumn. Both communities are planning events to coincide with the visit. The ship is designed to recapture the grand age of ocean travel and its physical plant, though invisible is also impressive.
