Abstract

"What's in a Picture?" piece on an advertising photograph done by Webber Studios in Saco for Lord & Linnell Company of Saco, which made Stanley wood-fired kitchen ranges. The model is dressed in a gown covered with metallic stars, moons, funnels, and ladles, and she is wearing a diadem that appears to have been fabricated from stovepipe, suggesting that she is the queen of her kitchen.
