Abstract

Morrill Worcester, owner of Worcester Wreath Company of Harrington, will donate and deliver 14,371 wreaths to Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia this holiday season. Of these, 2,500 will go to veterans' cemeteries in Maine. What began in 1992 as a way of honoring fallen servicemen with extra Maine wreaths has turned into an annual pilgrimage. The caravan of tractor-trailers and motorcycles will be greeted in virtually every town along its route.
