Abstract

"North by East" piece on the slogan,"The Friendliest Town in Maine," which is used by both Wells and Fort Kent. Neither town has registered the slogan as a trademark, and now that officials are aware that both towns use the same slogan, neither town plans to lay sole claim to the motto.
