Abstract
Ted Tihansky, 55, and Alison Hill, 57, two portrait artists, are married and live on Monhegan Island year-round. He once worked as a sternman on a lobster boat and she was a body builder, carpenter and telephone lineman. Their art is inspired by, and their lives intertwined with, Monhegan Island and its residents.
