Abstract

"What's in a Picture?" piece on the Eastern Steamship Company's 408-foot "Iroquois," which ran aground on Bald Porcupine Island, off Bar Harbor, on July 13, 1936. Captain Walter Hammond was at the helm. The photo was taken by local photographer Sewall Wesley Brown.
