Conservative activist turned conservationist Linda Bean, the granddaughter of the founder of L.L Bean, is selling various lobster products under her brand Linda Bean's Perfect Maine. She has opened a lobster-processing plant in Rockland to decrease Maine's dependence on Canadian processors and is building a vertically integrated lobster empire.
