Abstract

Account of the author’s daylong hike along Portland’s ten-mile Forest City Trail. From the traffic of outer Congress and busy Morrill’s Corner to the serenity of Jewell Falls, the trail occasionally emerges into the urban environment. She finishes her account (although not the hike) at Presumpscot Falls.
