Abstract

Mike and Kathy Rowe have been slowly converting the grasses on their place in Jefferson to garden beds that attract butterflies, bees and birds. Most of their garden plants have been given to them from friends, or are the result of dividing plants they already have. Mark Rowe is a retired portrait photographer and enjoys taking pictures of the plants and wildlife. Several of his photographs are featured in the article. [images]
