Abstract

Energy activist Jon Lund helped bring the removal of the hydroelectric Edwards Dam on the Kennebec River, the first federal order of its kind in the nation. He had been Maine's first full-time attorney general in 1973, in which position he created the office's environmental law section and did extensive work in the North Woods and Baxter State Park.
