"The Maine Viewpoint." Maine has the highest rate in the country of 18- to 30-year-olds who smoke. Between 25 and 40 percent of Maine teenagers occasionally or frequently smoke. Their smoking is a result of tobacco advertisements and parental inattention. The state is beginning to apply anti-smoking pressure. Details.
