"The Talk of Maine." Maine business and political leaders have revived an old idea, an East-West Highway from Calais to Coburn Gore. Though the idea has been rejected repeatedly, it is being promoted as an economic development tool. It would shave 150 miles off the trip from New Brunswick to Quebec. Details.
