The Portland Forecaster is a weekly local newspaper, distributed free of charge, and has been printed by the Falmouth Forecaster since 2002. The Maine News Index has included major Portland Forecaster articles, especially as they have pertained to Portland neighborhoods and the Portland Public Library. The Library's local holdings commence with the April 12, 2006 issue.
