The Island Institute has initiated a $20 million capital campaign to endow three core programs: the Island Fellows who provide fresh energy for island communities and get projects started; the Working Waterfront Fund to protect access for marine-dependent businesses; and a fund to provide scholarships for island students pursuing higher education off-island or technical training to learn skills to remain on-island.
