Abstract

Neighborhood groups oppose the proposed relocation of Business Express maintenance facilities to the Portland International Jetport. Its current headquarters are in Dover, NH, with maintenance in Bangor. Despite a 1996 bankruptcy, the airline is much stronger but will pay unsecured creditors approximately $0.21 on each dollar owed. Neighbors, along with Portland mayor Tom Kane and state representative Michael Quint, fear the noise and the business' financial instability. Details.
