Abstract

"Mainebiz focus." MBNA is planning to move into downtown Rockland, where it will construct a facility to handle 1000 telemarketers. The move would be contrary to Rockland's shift from a ground-fishing and sardine-factory port into a tourist haven and arts center. With comments from Rockland city councilor Joe Steinberger; Ron Huber, maintainer of www.mbnasucks.org.; Rockland business owners Suzanne Ward, Lizzy Dickerson, and Gary Small; Camden environmental activist Buzzy Parker; and MBNA vice chairman Shane Flynn.
