Abstract

The Maine Winter Sports Center, supported by the Libra Foundation, will help revitalize skiing in Aroostook County. Its first biathlon race arrived in 2000, and many more have followed. In excess of 90 percent of the center's investment has been spent around Fort Kent and Mars Hill. Fort Kent also hopes for increased cross-country skiing. Details.
