Abstract

"Newsworthy" piece reporting that Dr. Owen Pickus and his wife, Dr. Geraldine Olila-Pickus, donated $1 million last month toward a $6 million biomedical research center planned for the University of New England's College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford. The proposed 35,000-square-foot building will house laboratories for five to eight medical researchers and their staffs, and could potentially draw attention from the national medical community.
